GIS-IDEAS 2023 is pleased to announce the call for submission of full papers for the accepted abstracts and those that reflect the theme of the conference. The final deadline for the submission of the Full Paper has been extended to 15th of October 2023.

GUIDELINES

Full paper submission is not obligatory. Full paper submission is strongly recommended for submission to the Academic Track and will be published in the electronic conference proceedings. The papers should have scientific and practical values and content in line with the theme of the conference and have not been published in any journals, conferences, or scientific forums.

To avoid any delay in the final decision on the manuscript, please read the formatting requirements carefully and follow the instructions provided. Use the document template provided below and copy your text into this template file. This will help streamline the submission process and ensure your manuscript meets the required formatting guidelines.

All accepted papers will be published in one of the publishing channels of the conference. After the 1st round of review, the papers will be divided into two Category. Authors can choose to submit full-paper to be published in the Conference Proceedings (Category 1) or Springer book (Category 2).

Category 1: Papers to be published in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN identifier;

CATEGORY 1 REQUIREMENTS

  • The length of the full papers for Category 1 must be between 6 to 8 pages A4 pages in length.
  • The manuscript should consist of original research that has not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere in any other form or language.
  • Each manuscript will be reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers (the double-blind peer review).

Category 2: Papers to be considered for publication in Springer book that will be indexed the Web of Science or Elsevier’s Scopus system.

CATEGORY 2 REQUIREMENTS

  • The length of the full papers for the Springer book must be between 15 to 18 pages A4 pages in length.
  • The manuscript should consist of original research that has not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere in any other form or language.
  • Each manuscript will be reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers (the double-blind peer review).
  • Manuscript will be checked for plagiarism and self-plagiarism using software provided by Springer.

In the event that articles submitted under Category 2 that do not satisfy the peer review process for the Springer book, will be considered for publication in the latest English issue of the Journal of Science on Natural Resources and Environment (Published by Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment).

Note that mentioning the paper ID in the manuscript’s filename is necessary. The accepted abstracts can be viewed here.
